This ambitious project, overseen by the national defense, aims to transform regional mobility. The 226-kilometer line will feature double tracks and trains capable of reaching 200 km/h. The project is expected to create 200,000 jobs and significantly boost the regional economy. "This mega-project will not only shorten travel times but also serve as a crucial connection point to the north of the country," said a government official in the video. The line will include stations in Huehuetoca, Tula, San Juan del R io, and Quer aro, with additional stops planned at Quer aro Airport and Praderas del Potrero. The project's completion is anticipated in 2027. The involvement of the national defense ensures the project remains public and transparent, furthering confidence in its successful execution.
