Oklahomans Debate: Has Braum’s Changed Too Much?
Oklahomans say Braum’s ice cream still hits, but the burgers? Not so much. Has the grocery aisle taken over?
A local resident, identified by his online persona #holy High Five #airball, has publicly voiced significant criticisms regarding the Braum's restaurant chain in a recent video uploaded on September 14, 2025. Driving in his car, the individual detailed his dissatisfaction, stating that he would "rather cook at home when I’m tired and sick with the flu, Covid pneumonia and hepatitis C then go to Braums." His complaints centered on several aspects of the restaurant. He described the establishments as appearing "straight out of 1984" and suggested they "haven't been updated since 1992," highlighting a perceived lack of modernization. Furthermore, he characterized the food as "mediocre" and the buildings as "decrepit" and "dirty," asserting that the overall experience is "always just nasty." The individual humorously, though critically, likened the presentation of ice cream shakes to those prepared by "an entire busload of blind children." Concluding his critique, he recommended patrons "go to Whataburger instead," visibly holding a cup from the competing fast-food chain.
