CAGLIARI, Italy – A 52-year-old woman is in critical condition following a severe road accident in Cagliari. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, around 3:00 AM, near the Manuela Aloi bridge in Monserrato, when the woman was struck by a motorcycle. The motorcycle was reportedly driven by a 16-year-old male who was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license. According to initial reports, the woman, who was walking at the time of the collision, was thrown several meters upon impact. Emergency services, including the 118 medical team, promptly responded to the scene. She was transported to the Brozzu hospital in Cagliari under red code, indicating her severe and life-threatening condition. Authorities, including local police and Carabinieri, have launched an investigation into the incident. The young motorcyclist, who was driving a Honda SH 125, was found to be unlicensed.
