Kazakhstani Women Soar to Victory at International Paragliding Competition Kazakhstan's Eskeldy district recently hosted the international paragliding competition, attracting 200 athletes from 44 countries. The event, held from May 16 to June 1, saw remarkable success for Kazakhstani women. Ayana Askar, a young paraglider, secured first place in the Asian Junior League and second place in the women's overall competition. "Participating in Eskeldy was my first competition," Askar shared. "Now, I have international experience and invitations to Iran and Algeria." Albina Virshki added another gold medal to Kazakhstan's tally, winning the International Individual Cup. Her consistent performance in previous championships underscores her skill. This victory showcases Kazakhstan's rising talent in the world of paragliding.
