Upon regaining awareness, he discovered that he'd been robbed of 96,000 pesos and his cellphone. "They drugged me," recounted the victim, who identified himself only as Matthew. "I have no memories of what happened after that." The Makati City Police immediately launched an investigation. Using the victim's stolen cellphone, they successfully tracked down and arrested five suspects, one of whom was a 68-year-old woman. The suspects are facing robbery charges. Police Major Jean Dela Torre commented on the suspects' methods, stating that "one of the suspects mentioned a careless approach to administering the drug or chemical substance to the victim."
