Woman Drags Motorcycle for Two Kilometers After Hit-and-Run in Manaus
A hit-and-run incident occurred in the central-south zone of Manaus, Brazil, on Tuesday night, May 27, 2025. An 18-year-old delivery driver was involved in a collision with a white SUV. "The woman continued driving for about two kilometers with the motorcycle stuck to the front of her car," said a witness who preferred to remain anonymous. The witness described hearing the sound of the motorcycle's parts scraping against the road and the constant honking of other drivers. Despite this, the driver continued until she was stopped by police on Rua Professor Samuel Benchimol. The delivery driver escaped with no injuries, but his motorcycle was completely destroyed. "It's completely unusable," he stated. Police are investigating the incident and the driver's potential alcohol consumption. Both vehicles were removed by the Detran-AM.
