Nashville, TN – A Nashville resident, Morgan, has publicly detailed a months-long ordeal involving a lost $1200 camera package, alleging a series of failures by major retailers and her former apartment complex. The camera, purchased from Best Buy using Affirm, was mistakenly delivered to her previous address at 1200 Broadway Apartments in Nashville, where she has not resided for two years.According to Morgan, the package, a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo, was delivered on June 15th at 10:34 AM by FedEx. Upon realizing the misdelivery, she contacted the apartment complex, which she claims was uncooperative, initially citing a "DJ party" and later stating they had no packages and doubted theft. She suggested reviewing security footage, but was told by an apartment representative that even if theft was confirmed, they "can't force them to give it back to you." Morgan believes the apartment's lack of assistance stems from a prior dispute that required her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to move out.Her attempts to resolve the issue with Best Buy proved equally fruitless. After three months of repeated calls and explanations, Best Buy allegedly created multiple cases but failed to provide a refund or replacement. Ultimately, a Best Buy representative informed her that her account had been "flagged for fraud," showing her a screen as proof, and refused further assistance.Affirm, the financing company, also reportedly declined to intervene, stating they are "just a loan company" and the delivery issue was between Morgan and Best Buy. Affirm has since begun reporting her non-payment to credit bureaus. FedEx and UPS were also contacted but offered no resolution, stating they sent paperwork to Best Buy but received no response.Morgan, a full-time content creator, expressed her frustration, stating, "I'm not paying Affirm for a camera that I quite literally never got." She is now left without her camera, facing credit implications, and accusing all parties involved of a severe lack of accountability and customer service.
