Influencer Shares Early Experiences on ADHD Medication: A Personal Account of Elvanse
London, UK - Liv Gough, a content creator known as 'livplustwo,' recently shared an update on her personal journey with Elvanse, a medication prescribed for ADHD. In a video uploaded today, Gough detailed her experiences on the second day of treatment. "Day one went amazing," Gough stated, reflecting on her initial positive response to the medication. However, she noted a challenge with sleep, explaining, "The only thing was, I did struggle to get to sleep." She clarified that her consultant had forewarned her about potential sleep difficulties during the initial weeks of treatment. "I really, really struggled to get over… like, get ready for sleep. I just kept going on my phone," she added, describing her difficulty winding down. Despite the initial sleep struggle, Gough reported a positive morning. "When the morning came, I found it so much easier to wake up," she said. "Normally, I would be really quite groggy in the mornings… whereas I was like, ready to get up." She described feeling "good" and "energized" even before taking her second dose of the medication. Gough acknowledged feeling "a wee bit tired" today, attributing it to the previous night's limited sleep of approximately five hours. However, she emphasized the continued benefits: "The motivation to do things is a wee bit lower today, but definitely still much better than what it would be without the meds." She also highlighted an improvement in her emotional state, stating, "I'm still feeling like a lot happier and just a lot calmer in general." Gough plans to provide further updates on her progress with Elvanse.
