Six Gifts for Teachers: Malaysia Celebrates Teacher's Day with New Initiatives
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – In celebration of the 54th Teacher's Day, Malaysia's Ministry of Education (KPM) has announced six significant gifts for educators nationwide. Minister Fadhlina Sidek revealed these initiatives during a ceremony. One key initiative is the simplification of teacher transfer applications, allowing transfers after just two years of service. This is expected to improve teacher satisfaction and mobility. Furthermore, the KPM is appointing 1470 new MyPG personnel to support teachers. "This is a crucial step in ensuring our teachers have the support they need," said Minister Sidek. Additional benefits include short-term overseas training programs and discounts on airfare and books. These measures demonstrate the government's commitment to improving the teaching profession in Malaysia.
