Man Killed by Lamborghini in Kuching; Driver Arrested Kuching, Malaysia - A tragic accident occurred yesterday evening on Jalan Lapangan Terbang in Kuching, resulting in the death of a 52-year-old foreign national. The victim was struck by a Lamborghini driven by a 44-year-old local man. According to Assistant Commissioner Alexa Naga Chabu, head of Kuching District Police, the victim was a construction worker at the ART Autonomous Rail Transit site. He was crossing the road when he was hit. "The victim sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Sarawak General Hospital," said AC Chabu. The Lamborghini driver has been detained and is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for dangerous driving causing death. If convicted, he faces a prison sentence of not less than five years and up to ten years, as well as a fine of RM20,000 to RM50,000.
