National Career Carnival: Malaysian Graduates Find Hope Amidst Job Hunt
Kuala Lumpur Hosts National Career Carnival, Connecting Graduates with Top Employers The Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) recently hosted the National Career Carnival in Kuala Lumpur, a significant event connecting recent graduates with over 100 leading companies. The collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) ensured a diverse range of industries were represented, offering ample opportunities for job seekers. "The carnival was incredibly helpful," said Syed Hafiz Syed Fauzi, a recent graduate interviewed at the event. "Being able to speak directly with companies, rather than relying solely on online platforms, made a huge difference." The interviews also revealed the priorities of young job seekers. Nurul Izzah Zainudin, another graduate, emphasized the importance of gaining experience: "I understand that fresh graduates often lack experience, but this carnival gave me valuable insights into what I need to prepare for my applications." The event's success underscores the KPT's commitment to supporting graduates in their job search, offering a valuable platform for networking and securing employment opportunities in a competitive market.
