Seventeen bodies found in Irapuato, Mexico, as part of a missing persons investigation. The Guanajuato State Attorney General's Office (FGEG) confirmed the discovery of the remains on a property in Irapuato during a search conducted on May 23 and 24. The investigation is ongoing, with five victims already identified. 'The diligence continued on May 24, from 06:50 hours, in a cadaver state of decomposition,' said the FGEG in a statement. Various objects were also found at the scene, including knives and machetes. The Attorney General's office emphasized that the investigation employed scientific methods.
