Madrid, Spain – A significant payment dispute has emerged surrounding the production of a new music video by acclaimed artists Mon Laferte and Nathy Peluso. Miss Loot, a drag queen and member of the video's artistic and technical crew, publicly stated that neither she nor her colleagues have received compensation for their work since filming concluded on June 25th. 'We worked on this shoot as extras, the drag queens you see here, Nori Venus, Meril Stripper, and I, along with the entire technical and artistic team, have not yet been paid for this work,' Miss Loot announced in a recent video. She added that the payment was expected a month after the work was completed. The crew members were reportedly registered for social security for the day of the shoot but have yet to receive their wages. Miss Loot directly implicated Sony Mexico as the entity responsible for issuing payments to the Spanish production company, which in turn was to pay the crew. She expressed profound disappointment, claiming that Mon Laferte is 'perfectly aware of this situation' and has still chosen to release the music video. While she is unsure if Nathy Peluso is also aware, Miss Loot asserted that 'the production company told me she knows.' The content creator stressed the importance of fair compensation, stating, 'People don't live and eat from having worked for a famous person. People live and eat from what you pay them.' She urged for the overdue payments to be made so that the crew can 'leave this behind and have the illusion of having participated in a project that was cool at first.' The allegations highlight a broader issue within the entertainment industry regarding fair labor practices and timely compensation for production teams.
