A French consumer, known as Monsieur Physique Chimie online, has voiced severe frustrations regarding his leased electric Citroën C3, citing a litany of technical failures and inadequate after-sales support from the manufacturer. The vehicle, delivered on September 28, 2024, has reportedly spent significantly more time in the dealership than on the road, accumulating less than 100 kilometers since its last repair. According to the owner, initial issues included a faulty telematics unit, leading to a four-month wait for a replacement part. Upon its return, the car experienced further problems, including a loose bolt in the cabin, difficulties restarting after charging, and a traction system defect. The owner claims Citroën informed him that the replacement part for the recurring issue was no longer available and offered excuses for the car's malfunction. This ongoing saga, spanning from September 2024 to August 2025, highlights potential challenges with electric vehicle reliability and manufacturer support.
