Summer Camps in Kazakhstan Provide Engaging Activities for Children Summer camps near schools across Kazakhstan's North Kazakhstan Region have opened their doors, offering a range of engaging activities for children during their summer break. The initiative aims to keep children active and entertained while schools are closed. The video shows children participating in outdoor games, sports competitions, and even reading. "The children are really enjoying themselves," says Saule Kartaeva, director of School No. 4, one of the schools hosting a summer camp. "We have a special program designed to provide a fun and educational experience for our students." School No. 4's camp currently has 50 children enrolled, who attend for two weeks, four hours a day. The program includes various activities such as chess, sports, and arts and crafts. Svetlana Otarkulova, deputy director of School No. 4, explains that the camp's menu is carefully planned to provide nutritious meals for the children. The meals include soup, meat and potatoes, and fresh fruit juice. Across the region, over 400 schools are running similar summer camps, providing a positive and enriching experience for nearly 58,000 children.
