Kazakh Villages Celebrate Arrival of Natural Gas
Ordabasy District, Kazakhstan: Three Villages Receive Natural Gas Three villages in Kazakhstan's Ordabasy district—Toksansay, Bereke, and Saritogay—have finally received natural gas, marking a significant step in a larger project to bring the vital resource to the entire region. The event was celebrated with a ceremony attended by District Governor Azat Oralbaev and a regional deputy, Dulat Abish. "This is a great day for our people," Governor Oralbaev stated, highlighting the support of the regional government and the fulfillment of a long-awaited promise. The project, funded by the state budget in 2021, faced delays but was ultimately completed, increasing gas access in the district from 15.7% to 63.1% in just two years. Abish added, "This is a testament to the government's commitment to improving the lives of our citizens." The next phase of the project will bring gas to Shubar-Su village. The successful completion of this project highlights the importance of infrastructure development in rural areas and the positive impact it has on the lives of local residents.
