Satu Mare, Romania – The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN), Satu Mare extension, has officially announced a new partnership with Lebada, a prominent local economic agent specializing in the production and commercialization of washable paints and decorative plasters. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application for students, particularly those enrolled in the Economic Engineering program. Claudiu Abrudan, Director of the Department of Management and Economic Engineering at UTCN, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative. "We are pleased to announce that the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Satu Mare extension, has concluded a partnership with a local economic agent," Abrudan stated. "We hope that our students will come here to complete their summer practice, work on their graduation theses, and undertake internships. If they prove to be high-performing, they may even receive job offers." Cristian Pașca from Lebada emphasized the company's commitment to supporting local talent. "We are grateful for the opportunity the Technical University offers us to have access to well-prepared students whom we can observe from their early years of study, seeing how they perform in the workplace," Pașca commented. He added that students will gain insights into various aspects of the business, including raw material acquisition and logistics, laboratory processes for creating product formulas, production, packaging, labeling, preparation for delivery, and commercialization. This partnership provides UTCN students with a unique chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple business sectors, from manufacturing to marketing, within a well-established local company. Both institutions hope this collaboration will be a successful model for fostering skilled professionals and strengthening the local economy.
