Satu Mare, Romania – The Emergency Ambulance Service (SAJ SM) in Satu Mare has received a significant upgrade to its vehicle fleet, with the arrival of new, state-of-the-art ambulances. This development is part of a national program for equipping auto-sanitary vehicles, coordinated by the Inspectorate General for Emergency Situations (IGSU) and the Ministry of Health. Ramona Nemet, Chief Assistant of SAJ SM, announced that the service has been equipped with its second Type B2 4x4 auto-sanitary vehicle. She further stated that the institution's vehicle fleet is slated to be expanded in the near future with four additional Type B2 ambulances and two Type C2 ambulances. These latest-generation ambulances are outfitted with modern equipment designed to enhance the quality of pre-hospital medical care and improve patient outcomes. Among the notable additions is the Corpuls CPR device, an advanced apparatus that assists medical teams in performing thoracic compressions during cardio-respiratory resuscitation maneuvers. Ms. Nemet emphasized the critical role of these new technologies. "These new equipment ensure a constant, precise, and efficient intervention in moments when every second counts for the patient's life," she stated. While expressing a hope that these devices will be used as rarely as possible, indicating fewer emergencies, she affirmed that "the fact that we have these modern endowments at our disposal gives us the certainty that we can intervene in the most difficult situations and can increase the chances of survival for those in danger." The upgrades are expected to significantly boost the region's capacity to respond to medical emergencies effectively.
