Santa Catarina Breaks Ground on New IMSS Regional Hospital Santa Catarina, Mexico – Construction has begun on a new 260-bed regional hospital, a joint project between Mayor Jesús Nava and the Mexican federal government. The hospital, located on Carretera Monterrey-Saltillo in the Bosques de Santa Catarina colonia, will offer 39 medical specialties and serve an estimated 300,000 residents. "This new health unit will greatly benefit the inhabitants of the municipality," stated Mayor Nava, emphasizing the hospital's significance to the community. The project represents a substantial investment of over 3 billion pesos. The hospital's opening is anticipated in 2027.
