Según explica, sentarse de una manera u otra no tiene un impacto tan determinante como se cree
Madrid, Spain – A recent video by physiotherapist Raúl Valdesuso challenges the widely held belief that maintaining a 'perfect posture' is the key to preventing low back pain. Valdesuso asserts that this notion is largely incorrect, emphasizing that the way one sits does not significantly impact lumbar discomfort. "It's a very extended idea that sitting in a certain way prevents low back pain, which is totally false," Valdesuso stated in his video. He clarified that true prevention and relief come from a holistic approach to physical health. According to Valdesuso, the real determinants for avoiding lumbar pain include consistent strength training, effective motor control, robust lumbar stability, and maintaining good articular mobility. He demonstrated various exercises and movements that contribute to these factors. "This way, you would get quite close to a state where you might never experience low back pain," he concluded. Valdesuso encourages individuals suffering from back pain to seek professional guidance and adopt these preventative measures.
