Major Fire Engulfs Santa Cruz Warehouse, Destroying Three Cargo Trucks A large fire broke out in a warehouse in Cotoca, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on June 9th, 2025, causing significant damage to three international cargo trucks. The incident, which began around 5:30 PM, quickly escalated, requiring the response of more than five fire trucks from the Santa Cruz Fire Department and volunteer firefighters. "The trucks were practically reduced to ashes," stated a firefighter interviewed at the scene. "The cab of each vehicle is completely incinerated." The firefighter also noted that approximately 25,000 liters of water were used to extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The fire was eventually contained, and firefighters remained on the scene to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to begin cooling down the area. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The rapid response of the fire department prevented further damage and ensured the safety of those in the surrounding area.
