Santa Cruz, Bolivia – Following the first presidential debate hosted by Red Uno, university students across Santa Cruz have shared their diverse opinions on the candidates' performances and proposals. Many students watched the debate with keen interest, seeking clarity on the political landscape. One student commented, "The debate was very interesting, although I think the candidates lacked a bit." Another student expressed support for Samuel Doria Medina, stating, "He has a plan to increase exports and bring dollars into the country, which would open many doors in international trade." Similarly, a student leaned towards Tuto Quiroga, citing his proposed plans. However, not all students found the debate convincing. Some remain undecided, feeling that candidates did not offer sufficient or inspiring proposals. "I haven't been convinced by any of the plans," one student admitted, categorizing himself as "indecisive." Another student noted, "I've seen criticisms, I've seen that they have problems, that is, they have antecedents, they have many enemies, one could say." These varied responses highlight the ongoing deliberation among young voters as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
