According to Reesesaun, he had requested a six-week deferment for his start date due to pre-planned travel, which the company initially approved. Subsequently, he received an email containing instructions for a mandatory background check and drug test, with a strict 72-hour completion window. Reesesaun stated he did not see this email until the 72-hour deadline was almost up. Upon being contacted by the recruiter about the incomplete tests, he offered to fulfill the requirements immediately. However, the company's team reportedly found his delay 'suspicious' and proceeded to withdraw the job offer. The recruiter allegedly noted that this was an unprecedented situation for them.
