Új helyzet az Adrián, gyilkos ragadozó jelent meg Horvátországban
Egyre több horvátországi partszakaszról jelzik, hogy megjelent egy rendkívül veszélyes tengeri ragadozó.
Croatian authorities and marine experts have issued a warning regarding the recent appearance of the silver-cheeked pufferfish in the Adriatic Sea, a popular destination for tourists. This species, known for its potent neurotoxin, poses a significant threat to human health. According to experts, the pufferfish's body contains one of the world's strongest neurotoxins, and even consuming the smallest piece of its flesh can be lethal. The toxin can paralyze the nervous system within 20 minutes, leading to suffocation. Furthermore, the neurotoxin can also be present on the fish's skin, making direct contact extremely hazardous. The fish is also characterized by its sharp teeth and beak-like jaw, capable of severing a human finger. Tourists and swimmers are advised to exercise extreme caution. If a silver-cheeked pufferfish is spotted while swimming, individuals should immediately distance themselves from the animal. Authorities urge the public to report any sightings to local marine or environmental agencies to ensure public safety.
