
Zhetysu Region Makes Progress on "Clean Kazakhstan" Initiative
Zhetysu Region Updates on "Clean Kazakhstan" Program Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan – Deputy Akim of Zhetysu region, Marlen Kolybayev, recently provided an update on the progress of the "Tazawa Kazakhstan" program. The initiative aims to improve public spaces and infrastructure across the region. Kolybayev stated, "By order of the regional akim, we have developed a work plan for the implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program. Significant work has already been done, but additional work is underway." This includes planting trees, landscaping, park renovations, and improvements to sidewalks and courtyards in Taldykorgan. The work also involves cleaning irrigation canals and repairing roofs and facades of multi-story buildings. The Deputy Akim emphasized that these projects are on schedule to be completed by the end of the summer season, enhancing the quality of life for residents.
