Kiambu County Empowers Youth Through Successful Mobile App Development Program

Kiambu County's initiative to promote digital skills and innovation through mobile app development has yielded impressive results. The program, which initially received six times more applications than anticipated, trained 100 young people in collaboration with the County Government, Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, Brighter Monday, and Moringa School. "The response to the program was overwhelming," said a representative from the Department of Youth Affairs, Sports and Communication. The training culminated in presentations of developed mobile apps, highlighting the participants' hard work and innovative ideas. This initiative demonstrates Kiambu County's commitment to empowering its youth and fostering technological advancement, offering a model for other regions to emulate.
