Empowering Women: 'Career and Mom' Project Concludes Successful Study Visit and Conference in Belgrade
Belgrade, Serbia - The "KARIJERA I MAMA" (Career and Mom) project recently concluded a significant study visit to Belgrade, culminating in a conference that brought together key stakeholders from various sectors. Organized by Sindikat uprave RS, the event facilitated discussions on critical issues surrounding women's professional development and motherhood. Participants had the opportunity to engage with representatives from prominent organizations, including the "Heroine" Association from Belgrade, the Commissioner for Equality of Serbia, the Republican Secretariat for Public Policies of Serbia, the Olof Palme International Center Belgrade, and UN WOMEN Serbia. The agenda focused on exploring challenges and solutions related to balancing career aspirations with family responsibilities, promoting gender equality in the workplace, and advocating for supportive public policies. Speakers highlighted the importance of institutional support and community initiatives in empowering women to achieve their full potential both professionally and personally. The conference served as a platform for sharing best practices and fostering collaboration among organizations dedicated to advancing women's rights and opportunities in the region.
