Mark zgrozil Slovence, sesul ga je romski komik: »Ja, biti vplivnež je pa res težko. Veš, kaj je težko, mojster? To je težko«
A recent viral video featuring influencer Mark Baržič has ignited a fierce debate across social media platforms regarding contemporary work ethics and generational differences. In the clip, extracted from a podcast hosted by David Milosavljević, Baržič outlines his daily routine, which he humorously refers to as a "hard-working day." His schedule includes waking at 9 AM, engaging in yoga, showering, having breakfast, going to the gym, shopping, and attending a recording session. Baržič then provocatively states, "If you put me in the middle of a village, I'd feel like I flew from heaven," and adds that he would collapse after five minutes if tasked with stocking shelves in a supermarket. He concludes by defining his true "hard-working day" as posting five social media stories, multiple outfit changes, and evening cocktails and partying. The video's host, David, is seen laughing and anticipating public reaction. The comments section has since exploded with criticism, with many viewers expressing dismay at what they perceive as a detached view of labor, while a minority defends Baržič's success in the digital economy. One commenter stated, "This is the downfall of today's generations. The guy is totally without any tone or showing any real masculinity... Sad, really." Another countered, "People, times have changed, and not only hard physical labor is work... the guy earns well on all social networks, and I see no reason for such ugly words."
