MEDIAȘ, Romania – Cosmin Vâtcă has officially returned to the technical bench of ACS Mediaș, marking his first public statement since the club announced his reappointment. Vâtcă expressed his renewed enthusiasm and a clear mission to "finish the job I started and give confidence to the players." During the press conference, Vâtcă acknowledged the team's current state, noting that the players appear "a bit disoriented." He stressed the importance of mental fortitude, stating, "It's useless to change those in front of them – coaches, management – if they are not very conscious that they need to give more." He intends to work extensively on the mental aspect, fostering belief in the players' value and potential. Looking ahead to the upcoming match, Vâtcă confirmed the team's objective to secure all three points. He highlighted his philosophy of "producing football," emphasizing a proactive and attacking style of play. "We must not be afraid to play, to pass, to develop attacking football," he asserted, believing this approach will help the team grow and reach higher levels. Regarding the current squad, Vâtcă expressed confidence, stating, "My opinion is yes," when asked if the team has the quality for a playoff spot. He noted that he knows all the players, including new additions, who bring both experience and value.
