Romanian Coast Booms as Affordable Pentecost Holiday Begins
Pentecost Mini-Vacation Begins on Romanian Coast: Tourists Flock to Beaches Amidst Affordable Prices The Romanian coast is buzzing with activity as the Pentecost mini-vacation kicks off, bringing with it a surge of tourists eager to enjoy the summer sun. The weather forecast predicts sunny skies and warm temperatures, making it an ideal time for a seaside getaway. This year, the holiday is particularly appealing due to the relatively affordable prices of accommodation, offering a welcome respite for budget-conscious travelers. "The weekend of June 7th and 8th, extended by the Monday holiday, is seeing many people choosing to come to the sea," reports Raluca Sevasru, correspondent for Kanal D. "Prices for accommodation are currently accessible." In the popular resort town of Mamaia, rooms in three-star hotels are starting at approximately 150 RON per night. Meanwhile, in Eforie Nord, a room can be rented for as little as 87 RON per night. These prices are considerably lower than those seen in previous years, making the coast a more attractive destination for a wider range of visitors. With bookings already reaching 70% capacity, the Romanian coast is set for a busy and successful Pentecost mini-vacation. The combination of pleasant weather and budget-friendly prices is expected to draw even more tourists to the region in the coming days. The positive outlook for the tourism sector is a welcome sign for the Romanian economy, which has been significantly impacted by recent global events. The successful mini-vacation could be a strong indicator of a positive trend for the summer season ahead.
