Sydney Stabbing: Drug Deal Gone Wrong Leaves One Dead, Another Arrested
A 29-year-old man died in a suspected drug deal gone wrong in Sydney's Croydon Park on Monday night. Police were called to a home on Kembla Street after 5 pm following a concern for welfare. Superintendent Christine McDonald said officers arrived within minutes, but it was too late to save the man, who had suffered multiple stab wounds. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries. "It was too late," Superintendent McDonald said when asked if paramedics could have saved the victim. Police do not believe the two men were related. The incident is being treated as a homicide.
