The focus of his address then shifted to local governance and public projects, specifically highlighting the prolonged and costly development of a swimming pool in Szekszárd. Mr. Magyar claimed the project, initially promised in 2016 for completion by 2017, took nine years to finish and incurred double the original estimated cost. He attributed this to the alleged mismanagement of public funds by individuals he labeled as 'oligarchs' associated with the ruling party.
