Aidiladha 2025: "Upin" and "Ipin" Among 22 Cattle Sacrificed at Tayyib Ranch KUCHING, SARAWAK – The annual Aidiladha celebrations in Sarawak saw a unique event at Tayyib Ranch. Twenty-two cattle were sacrificed, two of which were notably named "Upin" and "Ipin." These two cows, weighing 800kg and 780kg respectively, were sold for 20,000 and 25,000 Ringgit. Muhammad Sakiran, Operations Manager of Tayyib Ranch Sdn Bhd, stated, "The Sarawak cattle were chosen for their superior meat quality, making them ideal for donation to the asnaf (deserving recipients)." The event showcased various breeds of cattle from Kelantan and Terengganu, weighing between 700kg and 1000kg, sold at prices ranging from 10,000 to 45,000 Ringgit. The event was a testament to the community spirit and the importance of Aidiladha traditions in Sarawak.
