At 11:17 AM, a police Major in plain clothes approaches and engages with Almeida and his bodyguard before Almeida goes to a registration desk. The Major's actions have sparked an internal investigation. "The officer has been removed from his post," stated Rolando Rojas, Departmental Commander. The investigation will focus on the Major's relationship with Almeida and the circumstances surrounding their interaction.
