The outage, announced by the water company Saguapac, will begin at 7 PM on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, and last until 6:30 AM on Thursday, June 5th. The affected areas include the central, north, and northeast zones of the city. A Unitel Bolivia news report showed a map detailing the affected zones, confirming the planned service interruption. "The water cut is necessary to optimize and modernize the potable water service," stated the Unitel Bolivia report. The report also showed a reporter on the ground, at Radial 17, observing crews preparing for the water cut. The reporter noted the presence of Saguapac workers and equipment preparing to close off sections of the street. Saguapac aims to improve water service and facilitate leak detection with this modernization project.
