Зелене добриво для городу: що посіяти у вересні, щоб покращити ґрунт
Є кілька рослин, які здатні покращувати якість грунту у вашому городі
A Ukrainian gardening enthusiast, known online as VasilyevnaOlesya, is sharing her expertise on the use of siderates, or green manures, to naturally enrich garden soil. In a recent video, she highlighted the distinct advantages of three popular green manure crops: mustard, rye, and lupine, advocating for their use to prepare land for future harvests. "Siderates are natural fertilizers that enrich your soil, your garden, all the way until spring," VasilyevnaOlesya explained, standing in a tilled field. She detailed the rapid growth of mustard, noting its ability to suppress weeds and cleanse the soil of diseases, thanks to its shallow root system that retains moisture. Discussing rye, she described it as a "universal siderate" with a deep root system that effectively loosens the soil and draws essential nutrients from its depths. "Its root system penetrates deep and loosens the soil, extracting nutrients from the earth's depth," she stated. Rye is particularly recommended after crops like carrots, onions, and garlic, and also protects the soil from freezing. Finally, VasilyevnaOlesya introduced lupine as a powerful nitrogen-fixer. "Lupine is a siderate that accumulates nitrogen thanks to nodule bacteria," she said, emphasizing its robust root system that deeply penetrates and improves soil structure. She suggested planting lupine after potatoes, tomatoes, and zucchini. The gardener concluded by recommending a blend of these siderates for superior results. "Together, they work as a team and give a much better result than individually," she affirmed, encouraging viewers to embrace these natural methods for a healthier, more productive garden.
