Kota Kinabalu City Mosque Sees Surge in Qurban Ibadah Participation Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia – The annual Qurban (sacrificial animal) ibadah at the City Mosque in Kota Kinabalu saw a significant increase in participation this year, exceeding previous years' numbers. This surge is largely attributed to the encouraging level of public donations, according to Datuk Paimin Abdul Karim, the mosque's chairman. "This year, we've seen a remarkable rise in the number of people participating in the Qurban ibadah," Datuk Karim shared in an interview. "The generous contributions from the community have made this possible." To manage the increased number of sacrificial animals, the mosque implemented meticulous planning. Security personnel and volunteers worked together to ensure a smooth and organized process. Datuk Karim added, "We started the slaughtering at 7 am and, thanks to the help of volunteers and security, we expect to finish before noon."
