"Traffic movement is smooth on the North-South Expressway," stated a spokesperson from the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), referring to the smooth flow on major expressways like the North-South Expressway, Pantai Timur Expressway (LPT1 and LPT2), and other toll highways around Klang. Thirty smart lanes were activated along major expressways to ensure traffic remained smooth. In Kelantan, traffic remained smooth at the state borders with Pahang (Gua Musang and Kuala Lipis) and Terengganu (Jalan Pasir Puteh) as of 9 a.m. "Traffic flow at the Kelantan-Terengganu border crossings is smooth, with vehicle movement as usual," confirmed the Pasir Puteh District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaizul Rizal Zakaria.
