According to a report by Berita RTM, authorities opened additional lanes at the Kuala Terengganu toll plaza near Bukit Kemburong to prevent congestion. "The traffic flow has been smooth," confirmed Muhammad Fazli Kasim, LPT2's management, in an interview. "We opened four lanes and deployed Rela members at each operational lane." Travelers interviewed also corroborated the smooth traffic conditions. One traveler, heading from Johor to Pasir Mas, Kelantan, stated, "Alhamdulillah, the traffic was very smooth." Another traveler, journeying from Klang, Selangor to Jeti Besut, also confirmed the ease of their trip. By 11:00 AM, LPT2 recorded 4,462 vehicles passing through the toll plaza. This was in contrast to the 46,654 vehicles recorded on June 5th. The smooth traffic flow is a positive sign for travelers during the holiday period.
