Farhana, who was on a holiday, reported that her travel plans, including a bus journey to Pokhara, have been cancelled due to the unrest. Her video, uploaded on September 9, 2025, depicts scenes of smoke rising in the city and large gatherings of people in public squares. In her video description, Farhana stated, "We are safe for now, but movement is very limited." She urged prayers for herself and other Malaysians currently in Nepal, highlighting the challenging circumstances. The situation has prompted concerns among the Malaysian community, with several comments on her post expressing support and advising her to contact the embassy.
