
Belarus President Facilitates Opening of Armenian Church in Minsk
MINSK, BELARUS—In a display of interfaith cooperation, a new Armenian church has opened in Minsk, thanks to the swift intervention of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The church's construction followed a request from the Belarusian Armenian community. Gagik Tsarukyan, founder of the Prosperous Armenia party, expressed his gratitude, stating, "President Lukashenko immediately responded, giving the order, and today we open this church. I want to express sincere gratitude from our compatriots, the Armenian community, and from myself personally."
