Lima, Peru – The tech world is buzzing with the arrival of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, a groundbreaking triple-foldable smartphone now available in Peru. Priced at approximately 12,000 soles (around $3,430 USD), this device is being hailed as the most expensive and thinnest triple-foldable phone ever manufactured, boasting a mere 3.4mm thickness. Tech reviewer Chris Mestanza recently showcased the device, highlighting its unique engineering. "It's an exquisite piece of engineering," Mestanza stated, demonstrating the phone's ability to unfold into a 10.2-inch OLED display, effectively transforming into a tablet. The phone features a vegan leather finish with aluminum and stainless steel accents, offering a luxurious feel. However, Mestanza noted that while the device excels in display quality and offers a premium experience, its performance in terms of processors and cameras does not surpass other high-end Huawei models, such as the Pura 80 Ultra, which are available at a significantly lower price point. In his review, Mestanza concluded, "It's a unique and luxurious phone, yes, but more anecdotal than practical. For now, it remains a luxury, and a quite expensive one." The high price tag and the reviewer's assessment suggest that while the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate is a marvel of innovation, its practicality for the average consumer remains a subject of debate.
