A recent viral video has brought attention to a street transaction in Spain where an individual attempted to defraud an iPhone seller using a deceptive money-swapping trick. The incident, captured on video, shows a seller presenting an iPhone 17 Pro to a buyer. After inspecting the device, the buyer proceeds to count out what appears to be cash. However, the seller, who was filming the interaction, quickly observed the buyer attempting to substitute the genuine currency with a folded piece of paper designed to mimic a stack of bills. The seller immediately confronted the buyer, stating, "You thought I was stupid?" and exposing the trick. The buyer initially tried to deny the deception, insisting the money was his. The seller, however, maintained his stance, demanding the agreed-upon payment of 1430 euros. The video concludes with the seller refusing to accept the fraudulent paper and reiterating the terms of the transaction. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the vigilance required during person-to-person sales to avoid potential scams.
