The event, coordinated by the Marine Turtle Recovery Center (CRTM) of Calimera and Plastic Free Onlus, drew a large crowd of families and children. One of the turtles is estimated to be around 30 years old. "It's a wonderful feeling to see them return to their natural habitat," said Daniele Leuzzi, who helped organize the event.
