
Two More Arrested in Dataran Merdeka Brawl: Seven Now in Custody
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into a recent brawl at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur police have arrested two more suspects. The arrests bring the total number of individuals in custody to seven. According to Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Rusdi Mohamad Isa, "With the arrests of these two suspects, aged 21 and 22, a total of seven individuals are now being held to assist in the investigation." The first suspect was apprehended at 1:40 AM in front of a building on Jalan Tun Perak, while the second was taken into custody at 3:15 AM in a condominium in Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor. One of the suspects reportedly confessed to assaulting a victim during the incident. The arrests follow the release of viral footage showing a large-scale fight at Dataran Merdeka involving numerous individuals on motorcycles. The incident highlights the ongoing efforts by Kuala Lumpur police to maintain order and ensure public safety.
