    Debunking Diet Myths: Eggs, Potatoes, and Coffee Are Healthier Than You Think

Dr. medic_smith notes that boiled or baked potatoes, due to their low calorie count and high satiety index, can be an ideal side dish for those managing their weight, provided excessive fats like oil or cream are not added. Lastly, coffee, frequently criticized for its perceived negative effects, has been shown to offer protective benefits. Modern research indicates that coffee can help prevent type 2 diabetes, reduce the risk of dementia, and lower the incidence of liver cancer. Furthermore, it does not lead to dehydration or calcium leaching from bones, as commonly believed. The doctor stresses that scientific understanding evolves, and current data supports the safe consumption of these foods.
