Fashion Photographer Dejan Milićević Reveals Ana Bekuta as His Early Muse

Belgrade, Serbia - Renowned fashion photographer Dejan Milićević recently shared insights into the early influences that shaped his illustrious career, pinpointing legendary singer Ana Bekuta as one of his primary muses. In a candid interview, Milićević recounted the profound impact Bekuta had on his artistic journey, particularly recalling her iconic appearance at his inaugural solo exhibition in 1993, held at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade (KCB). "Among my first muses and inspirations was Ana Bekuta," Milićević stated, emphasizing her unique fashion treatment within the entertainment industry. He specifically highlighted a memorable image of Bekuta adorned with a red turban, which was featured at his exhibition. "She was the only one from the world of show business, or the stage, who wore a red turban on her head and was treated fashionably," he explained. Milićević added that Bekuta's presence "truly captivated and served as a life-working inspiration" for him during that period.
