Fake IDs, Real Danger: Woman Arrested for Selling Fraudulent Documents in Valenzuela
Valenzuela City, Philippines – A woman was arrested for selling fake driver's licenses and PWD IDs, highlighting a growing concern about fraudulent documents. The operation, a joint effort by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), led to the woman's apprehension last week. "This is no joke," stressed Vigor Mendoza, Chief of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), emphasizing the potential dangers of unqualified drivers on the road. Secretary Vince Dizon of the DOTr added, "Drivers with fake licenses are a serious risk, and we will disqualify anyone found using them." The suspect faces ten counts of falsification of documents. The incident serves as a warning to motorists to obtain legitimate licenses through proper channels.
