Sources indicate that the man's social media profile frequently featured images of him posing with weapons and even kissing knives. He was also noted for sharing quotes from ancient philosophers in his posts. The video that led to his apprehension reportedly showed the man pointing towards a specific location in Chania where police officers were gathered, stating that he would "fire a burst and shoot them" because "this is what they need." The police acted swiftly upon this threat, leading to the discovery of the extensive weapon collection and the subsequent arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
