A recent report highlights how an individual, often seen in a yellow vest, attempts to misdirect drivers to a premature parking area, falsely claiming the main road to the beach is closed just 100 meters ahead. This individual then charges an inflated fee for parking, leading unsuspecting tourists to park further away from the beach than necessary. Sources indicate that by ignoring these false directions and continuing straight for approximately 300 meters, visitors will find a larger, official parking lot. This legitimate parking facility charges a standard fee of 5 euros for an entire day, and from there, the walk to the renowned pink sand beach is a mere 10 minutes. Travelers are advised to be vigilant and proceed directly to the designated parking area to avoid falling victim to this deceptive practice.
